At the end of treatment, patients had a depression of 2.75 (standard deviation = 2.66). This score represents the change in the level of severity of depressive symptoms from moderately severe to minimal.
Anxiety: On average, at the start of treatment, patients had an anxiety score of 15. 12 (standard deviation = 2.36). At the end of treatment, patients had a depression of 4.56 (standard deviation = 1.40). This score represents the change in the level of severity of anxiety symptoms from moderately severe to minimal.
Overall, these patients demonstrated an 80% decrease in depressive symptoms and a 67% decrease in problematic anxiety.
